About the test
Finland Driving Theory Practice Test
The Finnish category B theory test (teoriakoe) is taken on a tablet at an Ajovarma service point, run for Traficom by A-Katsastus. It has three parts in 30 minutes: 15 multiple choice questions, 50 picture questions about traffic situations and 5 risk recognition questions, and you must reach the minimum in each part (11, 43 and 4). The test is offered in Finnish, Swedish and English, with an oral test of 60 minutes in some cases. You can take it one month before reaching the licence age, normally 18. A passed theory test is valid for one year, and you take it before the driving test.
Frequently asked questions
What is Tigertest?
Tigertest is a free practice test site. For Finland it has a driving test written from the official rules, plus certifications that are the same everywhere, such as CompTIA and AWS. Every question explains the right answer.
Is Tigertest free?
Yes. Every test for Finland is free, with no subscription.
Do I need an account?
No. You can start any test without signing up. Make a free account if you want your progress saved across devices.
How does Tigertest help me pass?
Training mode gives instant feedback and brings back the questions you miss until you know them. Full practice tests then simulate the real exam, and your results show which topics still need work.
Is Tigertest an official test?
No. Tigertest is independent and is not affiliated with Traficom, Ajovarma or A-Katsastus or any testing company. The questions are original and written from the official handbooks.
